I agree, pretty much, with your comments as far as Chelsea are concerned.

 

I feel sorry for Sir Alex though as it must be very disappointing to go out in such a fashion. At least if they had scored at least one goal, they would have had some chance of staying in and making some fist fo a fight but there you go. 

 

A repeat of 2005? AC Milan will certainly hope not and Liverpool may well come out second best this time around as the Italians wll want revenge for 2005. That said, Liverpool did come back and claim the title after the first half and they will have learned that if they are slepping on the night, they will get played off the pitch.

 

That said, one will wait and see.

Now I must say that I am genuinely surprised but pleased none the less at the result the Licverpool beat Chelsea to go through to the Champions League final in Greece in a few weeks time. I must try and get a pciture of Mourhino's face as I am sure he is well and truly peeved right now but who cares? Do you? I don't think so somehow.

 

To hold off Chelsea anywhere is no mena feat  - it would appear that Benetiz finally got the lads sufficiently motivated.

 

So now to tomorrow and to see if Man. Utd. get through to the final in Greece. Could there be a last minute upset on the cards? I hope so.
